Speed Ball Chekka Club was established in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic and driven Chekkaouyouth. The club's founders began by gathering volleyball enthusiasts and organizing youth teams, all while working towards obtaining an official club license. This phase continued until 1975 when the Lebanese civil war broke out, leading to a general halt in sports activities in the country.

In 1978, sports activities were reactivated in Chekka with a new youthful spirit. On December 18, 1986, the Ministry of Youth and Sports issued Resolution No. 876, officially granting a license to the sports club in Chekka under the name "Speed Ball Chekka."

In 1987, the club joined the volleyball family, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey.

After dedicated efforts from successive administrative committees that managed the club, Speed Ball Chekka Club achieved significant milestones. In the 2013-2014 season, the club won the Lebanese Volleyball Championship - Second Division and advanced to the First Division.

Upon reaching the First Division, the club's administrative committee decided to establish a sports academy with the goal of training the upcoming generation in the art of volleyball, enabling them to become future stars of the club.

In the 2014-2015 season, the club finished ninth in the Lebanese Volleyball Championship and fifth in the following season. At this point, an implicit decision was made within Speed Ball Chekka Club to put in extraordinary efforts to win the Lebanese Championship in the 2016-2017 season. This dream turned into reality as Speed Ball Chekka Club won the Lebanese Volleyball Championship - First Division for the first time in its history. The victories continued from season to season until the Lebanese revolution in the beginning of the 2019-2020 season, followed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the 2021-2022 season, the competition reignited, and Speed Ball Chekka Club was prepared administratively, technically, and morally to participate. It achieved another significant victory, adding to its record by winning the Lebanese Championship for the fourth consecutive time.

It's worth noting that these victories extended to different age categories, including the youth and juniors, who also won the Lebanese Championship in 2017 and 2021 (born in 2000-2001).

In this regard, it is essential to emphasize that this long and challenging journey filled with triumphs wouldn't have been possible without the significant financial and moral support from the residents of Chekka and supporters of the club from outside the town.

We express our gratitude to everyone who contributed, donated, or supported the club, even with the smallest contributions, as without this support, Speed Ball Chekka would not have achieved its prominent position among the leading volleyball clubs. We promise to all our supporters, both in the administration and among the players, to do our utmost to deliver the highest level of performance in the game of volleyball and raise Chekka's name to the highest levels.
